NFL DRAFT PROSPECTS BY POSITION

*Player Profiles to be added for each prospect between now and the 2021 NFL Draft

1

MICAH PARSONS, PENN ST

OVERALL RANK: 5

MICAH PARSONS NFL DRAFT PLAYER PROFILE

  • Parsons is elite at blitzing. He gets to the quarterback at a high rate.

  • He has great bend at the line of scrimmage and excels at turning vertical to make himself small, get through the tackles, and into the backfield.

  • He also is very good at pass rushing off the edge, giving himself the versatility to play OLB in a 3-4 defense.

  • Has the potential to be dominant against the run as he excels at reading the ball in the backfield. It is extremely rare to fool Parsons with play action or a fake jet sweep.

  • Parsons is a dynamic and impactful defender at the second level and can target and bring down ball carriers, possessing an ability to force turnovers with his sideline-to-sideline speed and excellent pursuit angles.

  • Instinctual, if underdeveloped in coverage, Parsons possesses elite length and explosive qualities and simply flies around field. Could go top 5.

2

JEREMIAH OWUSU-KORAMOAH, NOTRE DAME

OVERALL RANK: 14

JEREMIAH OWUSU-KOARMOAH NFL DRAFT PLAYER PROFILE

  • Wow. Owusu-Koramoah is someone who simply leaps off the screen whenever you watch him. The sheer number of explosive plays that the Notre Dame product produces is eye watering, often zeroing in on ball carriers like a homing missile, precisely calibrated to a degree that it shows how effectively he manages to diagnose plays before a ball is snapped.

  • Owusu-Koramoah is simply a difference maker that could be used by any team to provide an immediate boost to their linebacking corps - impactful and explosive against the run, whilst providing the coverage skills of a safety able to lock down tight ends and slot receivers across the middle of the field to destructive effect.

  • He is a true hybrid linebacker/safety prospect who should transcend common draft beliefs regarding the position that off ball linebackers are taken and is a playmaker who can instantly upgrade a lucky team's base defense without question whilst becoming an effective blitzer or pass coverage guy on third down.

  • He looks to have elite speed, is a devastating tackler and plays with a controlled aggression reminiscent of of Jamal Adams. He is a versatile defensive weapon for whom teams will have to gameplan around as he matures into a role within the NFL.

3

ZAVEN COLLINS, TULSA

OVERALL RANK: 23

ZAVEN COLLINS NFL DRAFT PLAYER PROFILE

  • Zaven Collins is an ex-High School quarterback, and this experience shows on tape, as the Tulsa linebacker always seems to know how and when to turn up at the right place at the right time.

  • The 2020 Bronko Nagurski trophy winner for the best defender in college football excels at the second level of defense in all facets of the game as he smoothly drops into coverage, plays well in space, is able to effectively rush the passer as well as shining downhill against the run.

  • Collins makes clutch plays almost on demand and finshed his 2020 season with four sacks, four interceptions, two forced fumbles, two passes defended as well as two defensive touchdowns.

  • Collins' play is highlighted by his processing ability as well as his great instincts, often seen blowing up screens or diagnosing the run quickly. He is a sure tackler thanks to the sound angles that he takes to the ball carrier, but is not an especially hard hitter despite the weight and speed that he possesses.

  • This lack of functional power sometimes shows up when he is attempting to navigate bodies across the line of scrimmage, but I believe that this is more due to his fleet footed technique that sometimes catches him off balance than a real concern and will be corrected when he steps up to the NFL level.

  • The fleet footedness is a genuine benefit though on plays where he has to drop into coverage as he smoothly changes direction and is able to run with receivers across the field effectively.

6

DYLAN MOSES, ALABAMA

OVERALL RANK: 71

DYLAN MOSES NFL DRAFT PLAYER PROFILE

  • Dylan Moses displays excellent sideline to sideline speed and is decidedly fast, but just does not quite have that additional 'wow' factor as some of his peers at the linebacker position set to be selected in the 2021 NFL Draft.

  • He does not have the splashy plays that scream first rounder, but is certainly of the ability to warrant a look in round two and could provide excellent value from this point onwards.

  • Moses is a sure tackler and once the ball carrier is wrapped up, Moses has the ability to take his man down with absolute certainty.

  • He hits hard and could make his living in the backfield if schemed correctly at the next level, but sometimes misreads plays and is fooled on play action.

  • In coverage, he is solid but not spectacular, but he has the chance to improve in this area due to his athletic profile.

  • I am not sure that he is quite at the level required to play a full time, or MIKE role, right out of the gate in the NFL and there are concerns over his motor as he appears to give up on plays when he does not believe that he can influence them.

  • He is also often seen to become too easily negated on plays by blockers and does not easily escape their grasp due to their superior length.

  • An ACL tear in 2019 also leads to question marks, but Moses is too talented overall to last long and will contribute wherever he is drafted.
